I Have a Problem

Since leaving the United States, I have developed a very serious addiction. To bubble tea.

I look for it everywhere I go. Sniff it out and pounce. I just can’t get enough. My current favorite flavors are vanilla, caramel, coconut milk, or chai. As I’m writing this, I’m literally looking up my next trip to get more.

I have a problem.

But also – can we discuss this amazing restaurant that’s around the corner from my hostel??

It’s a cereal bar! They serve a ridiculous amount of cereal options that take me straight back to my childhood. You can also pick toppings and flavors of milk! I went with the classic Captain Crunch Berries. It was everything.

Later that night I went out to take pictures at the #1 rated spot to watch the sunset in Madrid. And it was quite beautiful. I swear the skies of Spain are painted a different color than the rest of the world.

While I was there, I found two things to be of interest.

  1. This guy:

He sang Coldplay, but in a very haunting way. I literally sat down for ten minutes to listen to him.

2) And this:

I looked over at first to find everyone laying facedown on the ground with their hands behind their back. I was like, “Good grief. I can never escape protests.” Then I realized they’re doing yoga. My bad.
