Basically Falling Apart

You know — considering all of the bug bite mayhem that I’ve been through, I think it’s only fair that I shouldn’t have to deal with any more bug bites.

Right? Doesn’t that seem fair?

Welp. That’s wishful thinking. Because now the spiders are out to get me.

I woke up in the middle of the night to a quick prick feeling and an instant itch. I’m actually not certain if it was a spider, but the symptoms match up to my previous experiences. Extreme itchiness and massive swelling. One single prick spot on the bite. Bleh.

See a side by side comparison of my wrists:

Later on in the day, I was digging in my toiletries bag and sliced my finger on my exposed razor.

And not to become a graphic horror author, but I could not get it to stop bleeding for the longest time. I had it wrapped and above my heart – taking it really seriously.

Basically I’m just slowly falling apart. So that’s cool.

I talked to reception about getting new sheets. Hopefully I don’t add to my bug bite count tonight.
