A Bit of Deja Vu

Valencia

Sometimes when a day is so great, you just have to do it again.

And that’s precisely what we did today.

We packed up our beach bags and headed back out for another day of salt water and sun. Because Valencia is relatively cheap, a lounge chair and beach umbrella cost 4.50 euros each. Which is completely worth it, in my opinion. Back in the states, it’s what? $25 for the two?

For lunch we went to a boardwalk restaurant where we got very excited about the prospect of nachos. When the nachos arrived to our table, it was probably one of the biggest disappointments I’ve had in Valencia. It was three piles of chips with squirted guacamole, sour cream, and cold Velveeta cheese on each mound.

Oh well. I still ate the entire plate. So. Can’t complain too much.

After that, more ice cream, more naps, and more hangouts on the rooftop terrace.

Life in Valencia is so hard.
