I Ate Raw Beef

Oh, you definitely read that title right – I 1000% ate raw beef. However, it was a little more sophisticated than that. I had steak tartare.

For those who don’t know what it is:

And yup, I had the egg yolk on top as well. It was so weird to look at the meat on the plate. I kept feeling that at some point, the waiter would take it away to make a meatloaf.

But turns out – it was super good. Like shockingly good. Like so good, I had to tell myself to stop eating all of it.

So strange.

After our feast, we headed to the Prague Castle where we walked up a ton of stairs and acted like we were arriving home.

Prague is absolutely breathtaking and one of my favorite cities on this trip so far. It’s charming, yet bustling. They have tourists, but I still found many locals. The transportation was efficient, the food was good. And to top it off, it’s just lovely.

And yup, still with the gang. I leave them tomorrow, and I’m refusing to think about it. Total denial.

I ended the night having dinner at an Italian restaurant by a little river while listening to live music. Strolling back to the hostel, I took this shot. I would say that Prague should win the award for prettiest city at night.

I magically didn’t get sick at all! I’m a little surprised, to be honest. It was so tasty!
