Surf, Eat, Sleep, Repeat.

I’ve determined that beach life is the life for me. Waking up early and having the ocean to yourself, hearing just the rhythmic waves crashing against the beach, wearing yourself out with some good surf runs, and scarfing down a huge breakfast….. *siiiiigh* Yep, I’m most definitely pro-beach life.

Today was a much better surf day than yesterday. I had a new instructor this morning, and he really helped me with my timing and footing. I was dropping into some solid waves and feeling good about my progress. And the best part? My arms aren’t wiped. Progress. Buuuut the bruises are getting worse. Pain is weakness leaving the body, right??

Today has consisted of sitting around at outdoor patios and hanging out with my friends from the school. Outside of that? Hmmm… not much, to be honest. Tonight is karaoke night at one of the local bars. You betta believe I’m going to that. Might need to bust out Super Bass or Ignition Remix for this. Impress them with ma skillz.

This is Diego, and he’s in charge of all of the surfboards for the school. He’s also my favorite person in Tamarindo. So.
