Fulton Lane Inn Review

Fulton Lane Inn

Checking In

Driving through the heart of Charleston made me feel like I had been transported back in time. The idea of leaving this beautiful historical district and the laid-back, southern charm was incomprehensible. A stay at the Fulton Lane Inn allows guests to be right in the action of all things Charleston and to truly embrace it. It is one of four hotels under the Charming Inns collection located throughout Charleston. As I strolled down their walkway to enter into the lobby, I was swallowed up in the enchanting charm of Charleston. This delightful hotel is such a quiet and safe refuge from the bustling boutiques and streets right at their doorstep.

The Room

Fulton Lane Inn

Having just driven six hours to reach Charleston, comfort was the very first thing I was looking for when entering my hotel room. Fulton Lane Inn did not disappoint. From the cozy lamps and bedspreads to the gentle touches of dark woodwork, I instantly felt like I was staying in the guest bedroom of a most beloved relative. In true Charleston form, my room was lovely with its relaxed, historical touches.

The Amenities

One of my favorite aspects to Fulton Lane Inn is their complimentary breakfast delivery to your room. Simply fill out a card with your breakfast selections and hang it on your door before 11pm the night before. At the time allotted, you’ll hear a glorious knock on your door with your breakfast ready to be devoured. Other amenities include a wine and cheese hour from 5-6pm in a lovely garden courtyard located not two minutes away from the lobby and complimentary evening sherry.

Dining

Charming Inns owns two restaurants under their brand, and both are in close proximity to Fulton Lane Inn. Kitchen 208 is on the corner of the same building and has a laid-back, feel-good vibe. It’s perfect for swinging by to grab a bite to eat for breakfast or lunch and enjoying its relaxing patio. About ten minutes from Fulton Lane Inn is Circa 1886 which is a classic and captivating dining option for an elegant night out.
